‘Abed ‘Abdi

(1942- )
Abdi was born in Haifa, Palestine, in 1942. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Dresden, Germany where he specialized in murals and environmental sculpture. In 1972 he returned to Haifa, and worked as a graphic designer, taught arts and designed murals.

Abdi received several awards and participated in several solo and group exhibitions, including the Exhibitions of “Solidarity with the Palestinian People” in Tokyo, Berlin, Brussels, Belgrade and Athens.

He has been teaching fine arts in the Arab Education College in Haifa since 1985.
