Mohammad Khalil

(1960- )

Mohammad was born in Zarqa,
Jordan, in 1960. He graduated from the Art Academy in Dresden, Germany in 1988. Mohammad received several awards including the Hans Gruendish Art Medal in 1988, the Bronze Medal at the International Book Festival IBA, Leipzig, Germany in 1989, and the Director’s Panel award at the Alexandria Biennale in 1999.

Mohammad has participated in numerous art exhibitions and international biennales. His work is owned by several individuals in the Arab World and abroad.

Mohammad was a resident artist at the Paris Cite des Arts in 2001 and currently lives and works in Ramallah.
