Nabila Hilmi

(1940- )

Nabila received a law degree from St Joseph’s University in
Beirut in 1964. She went on to study Fine Arts and received a Bachelor’s degree from Beirut University College in 1983, and a degree in Art Appreciation and Philosophy of Art from the Barnes Foundation in Marion, Pennsylvania, in 1994.

Nabila has participated in solo, group and juried exhibitions in the Arab World, Europe, The USA and Asia. She has taken part in radio and television interviews and panel discussions. Her work was used in several book cover illustrations. She has published several articles and reviews and is affiliated with the Foundry Art Gallery in Washington DC, Darat al Funun in Amman, and Corporate Art in Pennsylvania.

Nabila currently lives and works in Pennsylvania, USA.
