Born in Nazareth, Elia Suleiman is a Palestinian director and actor. He lived in New York from 1982-93. In 1994 he returned to Palestine. He teaches at Birzeit University.

Synopsis: Chronicle of a Disappearance is a personal meditation on what it means to be Palestinian. It examines the effect of the political impasse in the Middle East on the identity of the Palestinian people.
